“ My partner and I go to Bombay the time! The food is incredible, the Bollywood music and dining experience amazing, plus the staff are so friendly and sweet! Authentic cuisine with warm and caring service, it's honestly amazing to me it isn't packed every night. My partner and I are both foodies and this easily makes the top ten restaurants we've ever been to- including when we lived in Portland, Oregon! HIGHLY recommended, they deserve all the love and tips for the incredible service and food. ”
“ We went for the first time and it was so good that we went back two days later! Our server was very helpful for first-timers and did not steer us wrong. Over the two visits we had lamb and chicken biryanis, lamb curry with the 65 sauce and chicken with the butter chicken sauce. We also ordered a lamb panini. All of the food was amazing and incredibly flavorful. We will definitely be back soon and often! ”
“ First time going to Bombay Kitchen (and having Indian cuisine) and it did not disappoint! The owner was extremely friendly and walked us through the menu, even suggesting the most popular dishes, including Chicken Samosa which was excellent. She brought out sauces for us to try out. Enjoyed the Lamb Boti tacos, even though I could only get through one, they were big. Messy, but loads of flavor. Their margaritas cut out the heat from the spices in the food, and flavors are well balanced. Got to know the owner a bit more and I really admire her as an entrepreneur and local business owner. She loves what she does with an extreme passion. The restaurant was clean and modern. There was music playing that wasn't too loud with a large screen in the back playing music videos. It was intriguing but not too distracting. The only complaint I had was that the restroom was freezing and the water out of the faucet was ice cold, where I had to wash my hands fast so they wouldn't freeze. Other than that, it was a great experience and I can't wait to come back. ”
“ Great service. Self seated but greeted at the door. The food is top tier my new #1 Indian spot in Toledo. Hot. Fresh. Lots of options. Choose your spice levels. Vegetarian options. Go for the Puff Pastries, Butter Chicken or Tikka Masala, Roasted Garlic Naan (add the cheese). Amazing. Prices are fair. About 50 for 2 people. ”
“ Food ordered: Potato dosa, Lamb Kebob, Butter Chicken, Dessert assortment -Review: I used to frequent curry hill in NYC, known for it's incredible Indian cuisine. Bombay kitchen is on par with restaurants there with richness in flavor and authentic tastes. I highly recommend the dosas, they were incredible. My mom also ordered the butter chicken which was creamy and delicious. The desserts were fun to try as well. -Price: Lamb kabob 13 Potato dosa 14 Medium butter chicken 15 Desserts 1/1.5 each -Portion: The portions are good. Each fish is definitely enough for one person. Larger appetites might want to go with the larger size options. -Service: Excellent. They never missed a beat. Vida, the owner, came out and spoke to us. She was very friendly and kind. -Atmosphere: Very clean, plenty of seats. This would be a great place to have a large group. -Would I come back? I definitely plan to next time I'm in town! ”
“ Just discovered Bombay Kitchen. What a well kept secret in Toledo. I had the Chicken Butter Sauce. It was just great. This is not a chain. Everything is home made and absolutely authentic. The owner, Rita, was so nice. She brought us different sauces to try and made recommendations for our 1st time. The garlic bread was great for dipping. A bonus is that many items are gluten free. You would think the curry sauces are hot, but they can make them as hot or as mild as you would like. They have menu items that are non- traditional in a typical Indian kitchen but Rita has made them “Indian”. There are Burritos and Tacos. They also have fries with Indian spices. Can’t wait to come back and try something new. ”
